7 – Train Summary of the week

At this week of design class we’ve learnt about general design process. We learn about how to mapping our ideas, several research methods and the resource we can use from Parsons and the internet. The most impressive part is the domain mapping. This is the knowledge I’ve never learnt in my undergraduate. It is about putting my idea into a certain field. And narrow down the further research targets. I think it really help me to improve the accuracy and efficiency of the design processing. The direction of research is important. The domain mapping is crucial to make sure the only the neccessary research is taken and the direction is correct. Besides, We shared the bad and good design on our mind, learn to draw a mind map, create a story board for pool Chris, formate our own design statement and present our previous project design process.
