Midterm Website – ‘The Creamsicle Palette’
Inspired by brutalist and minimalist aesthetics, my intent is to create a secondary portfolio from my commercial UX portfolio that showcases my work in DT along with personal projects.
After gathering inspiration from websites using bold typography and impactful use of negative space, I went on to create a content map for my site, ‘The Creamsicle Palette’.
At first, it was difficult to create a brutalist site that still followed design processes instead of the ‘randomness’ that can embody art. However, I iterated upon my content map and low-fidelity wireframes to create visual and information hierarchy.
Next steps are to improve my front-end dev skills so that I can realize my designs.
