Ethan Marcotte is an designer who focuses on responsive design, which means creating websites beyond different devices. He spoke at many conferences and delivered his ideas of reusing design models and adjusting them to adapt to various platforms. Also, he gave detailed strategies of front-end design by showing HTML and Javascript examples, which are helpful when doing actual coding.
